What we can offer

SYEDA has been commissioned to provide training and education that increases understanding of eating disorders and disordered eating behaviours. As part of this work, we are able to offer free training resources to professionals working with individuals across Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster.

Our resources are designed to support early recognition, increase confidence in responding to concerns and encourage compassionate, informed conversations around eating disorders and disordered eating.

Resources available include:

  • Pre-recorded webinars, including How to Communicate Concern and Recognising Eating Difficulties
  • A general resource pack containing definitions, recommended media resources, pathways and signposting information
  • Downloadable posters and awareness materials
