With hundreds of events postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, thousands of charities have had to reduce or stop services at a time when vulnerable members of society need them most. The 2.6 Challenge is a simple way for everyone to help save the UK’s charities.
Get involved
On Sunday 26 April, the day when the Virgin Money London Marathon would have taken place, come and join the rest of the UK for The 2.6 Challenge. Whatever your age or ability, you can take part.
Your #TwoPointSixChallenge can be any activity you like – from running 2.6 miles on your balcony or around nearby park (in line with the Government rules!), holding an online workout with 26 of your friends, skipping for 26 minutes, running around the garden 26 times, flipping 26 pancakes, making 26 cupcakes. Let your imagination go wild.
Have a look at Virgin Money Giving’s 26 family-friendly activities for inspiration.

Now more than ever, we need your help. Post COVID-19 we will see a huge increase in the demand for our services which comes at a time when we are facing a drop in our fundraising income.
We’re doing all we can to support every single person who needs us. By supporting us through The 2.6 Challenge, you will be helping us support anyone affected by an eating disorder in South Yorkshire.
